Tertiary Scholarships available through VTAC

This table lists the scholarships that you apply for through VTAC. To apply for those labelled 'Commonwealth' or 'Access/equity' you must submit a VTAC scholarships application. For most 'Merit' scholarships you will automatically be considered when you complete your VTAC course application.

Make sure you check the 'Restriction' column for any additional eligibility or application requirements.

Student Start-Up - Turn your idea into a business.

Have you got an exciting business idea?

  • Student Start-Up is multi-partner accelerator program designed to help high-school students grow their exciting ideas into a business.
  • Student Start-Up is here to support students in Melbourne’s northern regions develop entrepreneurial skills.
  • Student Start-Up provides access to seed funding, leading mentors, workshops and the latest business incubation facilities at Melbourne Innovation Centre's Greensborough campus.
  • Student Start-Up will provide you with a range of skills to explore, prototype and test your business idea.

Further skills developed include critical entrepreneurial and employability skills such as problem solving, customer centric design, business model development, data analysis/measurement and project execution.

Student Start-Up accelerator program is a five day experience for students providing: Seed investment; Workspace; Workshops; Mentors; and Public pitch events

This is an opportunity for students to develop their innovative ideas further and launch a business to market.
