SCHOOL LEAVERS - MAS is offering one-on-one personalised career sessions to youYear 12 and School Leavers 1-1 Career Sessions
As has been mentioned our main goal when working with schools has always been to prepare students for life after school and pathways beyond the classroom - a goal which we believe will be more significant than ever this year.
For extra support we are offering year 12’s and school leavers the opportunity to talk with us one-on-one to address their situation and needs. As always sessions are free and we welcome parents/guardians to join as well. Sessions can be done over the phone or using electronic means (Zoom, Webex, MS Teams) and they can be booked until the school year ends.
Attached is a flyer which you can pass on to any of your students which will benefit from a session.
Boosting Apprenticeship Commencements Wage Subsidy
To assist with the recovery from the impact of COVID-19, the Australian Government is providing support to all employers who engage a new Australian Apprentice through the $1.2 billion dollar ‘Boosting Apprenticeship Commencements wage subsidy’.
From October 5th 2020, any businesses or Group Training Organisation that engages an Australian Apprentice may be eligible for a subsidy of 50 per cent of wages paid to an apprentice between 5 October 2020 and 30 September 2021, to a maximum of $7,000 per quarter. The subsidy is capped at 100,000 places and is available for wages paid from 5 October 2020 to 30 September 2021.

Apprenticeships Are Us
Apprenticeships Are Us is a Group Training Organisation (GTO) that has been supplying quality apprentices to the automotive industry for over a decade. Working with Commonwealth and State Governments, Registered Training Organisations and the school system, they are at the forefront of addressing the skills shortage in the automotive industry. Apprenticeships Are Us is a not for profit organisation where all surpluses are put back into the industry for the direct benefit of its clients.
Apprenticeships Are Us differentiates itself from other group training organisations through only servicing the automotive industry. They represent the industry at Careers Fairs, Trade Expos, State and Federal Government forums, vocational education and training working groups, and regular meetings with interested stakeholders. They are dedicated to developing the future tradespeople of the Automotive Industry.

Work Experience 2021 with AIE (Academy of Interactive Entertainment)
The AIE Work Experience Program is a great way for secondary school students in years 10 to 12 to learn about the interactive entertainment and digital industries. The week will open the door to the range of career possibilities in the industry and allow students to get hands-on with the tools of the trade.
The Work Experience Program runs from 10am to 4pm over the course of a week and encompasses a range of activities including 3D animation, programming, designing and much more.
Due to the popularity of the Work Experience Program, they ask that students fill out the form (see link below) and show them why you would like to do work experience at AIE.
